The third member of the new Kestrel family was for the superlight category. The challenge here was different: Superlight bikes traditionally use straight tube frames. But straight tube frames lack the character that had been established throughout the rest of Kestrel’s family. The final design solution walks the fine line between minimalism and efficiency while maintaining the Kestrel brand through sculpted aerodynamic forms. Weighing in at a mere 780g, the Legend SL is the lightest and stiffest Kestrel ever made.
