Meyer Sound :: Nadia Digital Integrated Audio Platform

Meyer Sound has been a leading manufacturer and innovator of professional audio equipment, solutions and software since 1979. Meyer Sound has partnered with Anvil Studios to create a cohesive design language for their future line of rack mounted audio processors.

The design language had to be consistent, and flexible enough to accommodate future rack mounted products both current and not yet envisioned. We placed a high priority on usability and visibility due to the nature of the environments that these products live in. The aesthetics needed to convey a premium brand experience, and reflect the quality of the engineering within the product. The aesthetics also needed to draw direct visual alignment with the entire Meyer Sound portfolio, both physical and digital. 

The MPS-488X NADIA was the first product to incorporate the NADIA design language. The NADIA-AI12, NADIA-AO16, and NADIA-CP soon followed, and tested the design languages’ flexibility with 1-U, 2-U, and 3-U rack configurations. The rack mounted audio processors are all defined by a glossy black front face delineated by a vertically oriented, and off-center, Meyer Sound Blue LED stripe. When NADIA products are rack mounted the blue LED strips illuminate and align to create a unified collective. Each face showcases the Meyer Sound logo on the smaller left panel, while the right panel is left modular for each audio products individual functionality. Some show product status via dead-fronted LED’s, others are generously covered in ventilation patterns, while others are devoid of information, all with understand elegance.
