NetScout Network Analysis Tablet
NetScout Systems, Inc. partnered with Anvil Studios to create a new design language for their product line starting with the next generation Network Analysis Tablet. This product is used primarily in IT rooms for monitoring network performance and issues. The goal was to create a more contemporary aesthetic with a glass front face and a slim, easy-to-hold body.
Our design solution creates an iconic form that blends ruggedness with consumer electronics aesthetics. The form, slightly reminiscent of a manila folder, integrates a generous sized touch screen surrounded by the protective, overmolded housing. Buttons and connector ports are located along the left side and top edge. A kickstand/handle on the back allows for hands-free interaction and nests cleanly onto the rear battery pack. The main body is molded in NetScout’s signature accent color, with their logo locate neatly on the upper left “tab” feature.
